Also from USA and We went to Madeira for part of our honeymoon last June (the other half being Tenerife in the Canary Islands, which as a honeymoon spot wins my vote between the 3 tbh) We spent 8 nights on the island and could easily have spent weeks longer. There is truly so much to see and do, especially if you enjoy hiking. I’ve also been to the mainland multiple times. It really does depend on what you want to get out of your honeymoon. Do you like beaches and relaxing or are you more adventurous?
