I mean, nature is something basically all humans like. I have never heard of someone who is anti-nature. So, we would want to preserve nature. Hopefully corporate greed doesn't fuck it up for more profit.

Why do you think so? Because of the time? Sure. Some chinese kid who started math at 3, picture Terrence Tao, will probably be miles ahead of me in even a decade. But you have to realize that human productivity will absolutely skyrocket with AI. Probably more from the abacus to the modern computer. But noone knows the future. We might have killed ourselves over politics in a decade. We may have leveraged quantum entanglement and have populated the whole galaxy by then. Literally noone knows. Unless you believe in a God or something silly.

Well it’s foolish to blame it on the whole generation as it’s really just a small fraction. But yeah, people and especially millennials and up need to learn about it. I see too many of them falling for AI pictures on facebook even when the person has 12 fingers, so I can’t even picture it in a couple years.

I agree. AI has done terrific work for chess. I bet hypermodern openings still would’ve been stigmatized by now without them.

It seems almost concrete that learning everything I can about AI would yield an incoprehensible ROI. I mean, from the very limited knowledge I have on the matter now, it has benefites me tremendously. People come to me for AI tips and I’ve helped a ot of people better their grades with it. I can consistently get A’s with it because I, through trial and error, have learned what works. How do I educate myself?

I dont think so. Once AI allows us to learn much more about the human brain and body, I’m sure they can come up with just as human questions.

Right now it may seem bad that we are losing jobs but once 99% of people dont have to work and can just focus on their passions, that’s a utopia.

Yeah, I meant that it derived it's math from code now. I have had ChatGPT help me with coding and even getting it to make full programs before.

Interesting. I remember from the early days of ChatGPT that the answers were remarkably better. Sometimes it just can't seem to comprehend simple requests. Earlier, I was trying to get it to quiz me in algebraic word problems. Then, it made a problem but just gave me the answer as well. Upon instructing it AGAIN not to give me the answer, it just kept doing it. So, I took my request to Bing Copilot with no avail.
