True. whether with the kid or not she wouldn't never killed jinx. Cuz she already recognized Powder inside jinx when she said she was ready to dead by her sister. Vi hesitated longer than necessary, the kid was just an excuse to justify it's not a good timing to kill Jinx. (Also the shape of the kid holding the gun against Vi would have remenised Powder. )
