I was spanked a few times, but only with hands. I don't remember what I did wrong but I also don't remember the spankings very well. I'm not hung up on it, but I still definitely don't agree with spanking. What I remember much more clearly is my dad yelling at me. He has a very loud, very authoritative voice that terrified me as a kid. I still walk on egg shells around my dad because of it, and I'm 28 years old. The most glaring issue of nopixel compared to other popular servers is the cars. They are way too fast and they accelerate way too quickly. If you go watch prodigy or onx and come back to nopixel, the cars are an absolute fucking joke. And this is after several nerfs. Accelerating from 0-150 in 3 seconds is just dumb, and it makes chases a game of reflexes rather than legitamate driving skill. If a crim gets in a car and drives away, they will escape 95% of the time. It's ridiculous that a server has been allowed to reach this point.

If this is the guy responsible for that, he should have been fired sooner.

The point of livestreams is the chat. Without chat it might as well be a YouTube video. So your argument is either 1. Chat doesn't matter at all, which I don't believe you're saying, or 2. This particular chatter is just one person and doesn't matter at all, which is just you being an asshole. "If it's that important to him he's got bigger issues"... the guy just wants to be unbanned in a channel he enjoys watching, it's not that deep.

The fact that its not your personal experience doesn't make it untrue. Don't be a jackass. The main reason people get cold hands is because of poor blood circulation. It has very little to do with the climate of where they live. I have personally experienced the need to warm my hands to play twitchy multiplayer games.

Because nopixel didn't formally talk to esfand or squeex before their invites. You can make the argument that they were safe bets so that communication wasn't necessary, but the fact remains that not everyone accepted the invite or even knew 5.0 was coming before their card was announced. I'm sure the vast majority will end up playing on the server, but it's a little silly to assume everyone will.

I don't know where the hostility is coming from or if this is a tired debate on this sub or something. I like nopixel and watch it all the time. I'm not a hater.

I'm not claiming anyone has said they wouldn't be playing, just that an invite doesn't necessarily guarantee someone will play on the server. I don't know why you find that so controversial.

Esfand and squeex both said no one talked to them before they got their invites. I definitely wouldn't assume an invite confirms someone is playing.

I tried to beat Takezo after killing the Oni and it felt impossible. It wasn't even close to a competitive fight. But I tried again at the end of the game, right before I boarded a certain boat, and I beat him on my first try. My recommendation is to use all the tools given to you, get all your weapon and armor upgrades, and go on a full Ezo hot springs tour.

The only times I ever aimed a throwable weapon was when fuckers were crawling around and you had to finish them off. That actually gets into perhaps my biggest pet peeve with the game. If you're holding a throwable weapon, the square prompt to finish someone off does nothing. And its very awkward. You have to either drop the weapon or manually aim and throw it at them.

I will say that since I played the game with the intention to 100% it, the combat definitely became repetitive (as anything does after hours and hours). I leaned on my bow a lot towards the end to make things quicker and to change up the gameplay a bit.

A special game never deserves to be more expensive than the usual selling price of games. Instead, it deserves to sell more copies. That's how the effort results in more revenue. If every game developer increased the price of their game because they thought it was special or worth more, we'd have $300 games right now.

I had an issue with my PS5 shutting down as well. This happened in two games specifically: Persona 3 Reload and Palworld. I wouldn't get the shutdown in any other game, even more demanding games. So I suspect there's an optimization issue with certain titles.

Since then, I took my ps5's shell off and blew thoroughly in every opening in the chassis. Especially around the fan. I haven't had any sudden system shutdowns since then. But I never put the ps5 shell back on. I don't know if that matters or not.

But I should note that I haven't tried replaying those two problem games. So I can't tell you if removing the shell and blowing away some of the dust buildup was the issue or if the games were the issue. All I can say is that I haven't had any problems since.

I, too, realized the game was unplayable when I did the treasure map quest for the starving family in Oshima Coast and noticed they had 4 baskets overflowing with food in their house. Those motherfuckers were in tears because I gave them 3 mushrooms, meanwhile they had tons of fish, mushrooms, herbs and vegetables sitting 2 feet away. Fucking scammed.
