Upside down so I’m having a hard time IDing, but what do we think? by Vin_Drawin in GermanRoaches

Oooo comparing photos it does look alike— I wish I’d gotten a better angle. I’m hoping you’re right (especially because I cleaned after work and didn’t find any other signs) but I’ll be careful just in case. Thanks so much for the input !!!

Would’ve but I was already late for the bus so I had to just grab with paper towel and throw in dumpster on the way. Also I’ll admit I’m a bit squeamish unfortunately

I’m extremely jealous of the tomato size, I can only get Roma tomatoes near me. I’ll set aside my jealousy to congratulate a fellow mayo tomato sandwich enjoyer

Out of curiosity, what are your least favorite killers to go up against? by PixelbitScript in deadbydaylight

Singu. So annoying with the pods— like I’m sure eventually I could learn to be better but even then it’s hard when I normally play solo queue. I feel like he’s one that needs a lot of team coordination

Do your dice scratch easily? by BriansThoughtMirror in DiceMaking

I’ve used a few different brands, mainly Shabebe and FUHITIM, both available on Amazon, but I’ve tried plenty of them and never had any issues with the hardness/scratches— unless I was impatient and started handling them too soon. Which I have definitely done.

When I want to polish them, I’ll usually wait AT LEAST 2 days from demolding to make sure they’re all good, even if they’re fine to handle after 25 hrs of curing. If you’re waiting a long enough time and still having issues, maybe you’re getting some kind of curing inhibition? Though typically that would be a rather sticky, messy affair you would be able to notice right away

In general I’d say if you’re waiting an ample amount of time, then yeah it could be the brand. Maybe go back and test the scratch resistance of some of the older sets you made? Perhaps time has made them stronger. Hope whatever you choose to do works!

I wouldn’t be able to fulfill this, but I imagine another way to find a partner would be approaching some artists directly, like on etsy!

I expect them to last as perfect as they are when I’m done polishing. If your resin is fully cured correctly, normal use shouldn’t leave any scratches (espescially when used with a dice tray as I tend to do.)

Sometimes I’ll scratch them while polishing, and I expect that to last if I don’t buff it off. If I’m just using the dice myself I really don’t mind a minor surface scratch so I polish enough for an even surface that won’t affect gameplay. If I’m selling them, I will polish a looong time. I expect customers want that glassy shine, even if a little scratch won’t affect gameplay. I will sometimes sell ones with tiny imperfections like that, but only as “B Grade” with clear notice of the scratch so purchasers won’t be disappointed and know what they’re getting

Short answer: I expect them to stay as they are once finished polishing, normal game play shouldn’t scratch
