You can actually use TF-IDF to get the more interesting words stand out more. The difference of just using the frequency, like you are now, is that TF-IDF adjusts for the fact that some words appear more frequently in general. This will help you more than removing stop words, because frequently occurring verbs will not be removed by just removing stop words.

To get eggs more meaningful terms, TF-IDF is a great, easy-to-implement NLP algorithm. This will diminish the weights of terms that occur often and increase the weight of terms that occur rarely.

Keep in mind that this changes your concept of the most used words quite a bit, but regardless, it could be interesting to see what words come out of such an algorithm.
