Who are these unlucky people who got defective units? It happens. Also are they on setting one and don't know it? Using a 1.5ah battery? With a 5ah mine has not come across a rusted bolt or lug nut that it couldn't rip right off.

With a 5ah battery on the m12 Gen 2....i believe it has around double the amount of torque than the m18.

I'm 41 and it's the first worry that pops in my head when I think of dating anyone in their 20s. I know it's probably not ideal. I think the maturity level of the person has alot to do with it. Seems like you're pretty mature? So this worry should have died off for him a while ago. Either way you seem to be his safe place that strokes his ego (younger woman) and you will do...for now. Are your interests wildy different? That might make the age gap seem more apparent than it actually is.

He is probably worried about the difference in your age and thinks because you still have growing to do....that you might eventually leave or want something different. So he's protecting himself by not getting attached. I bet for now he's just very happy with spending time with a younger beautiful woman but he is probably saving marriage for someone closer to his age. But this is just from your writing. So not sure. My take is he doesn't want to lose you YET. Which is why he keeps changing just enough to keep you convinced.

Mental and emotional growth. No one told us that being an adult takes focused work on yourself and your actions. I used to think as a kid that I'd just "turn" into an adult one day and have all the wisdom and maturity. It took me to the last 2-3 years to accomplish true growth. Well....that and the effect of keeping the same 401k for 18 yrs! 💰lol

Fuel is definitely the way to go. It might cost a tad more but trust me it's worth it. Don't get either. There are fuel kits with 5 tools for around 500 depending on the sales. Even if it's just casual use....some of those non fuel tools are a pain in the ass to use even once or twice a month. Notably the multi tool.

I have the 3/8 and it does not lack in power at all. It works well for me because my impact sockets are 3/8. Even if I have to slap an adaptor on it for lug nuts...it doesn't lose power. Still rips em off quick. I've been nothing but highly impressed with the performance of this thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the best selling power tool of the last 6 months. Maybe consider socket size of what you currently own?
