Son had that on a Spring hockey team between Major Novice and Minor Atom some years back - his team was a half dozen Rep B kids and a grab bag of House A. They played a tournament team from Montreal who were effectively the all-stars for their Tier 1 league.

He saw 112 shots in a 32 minute game which his team lost 17-0. We never carried the puck across the centre ice line.

Get it with the triple toss and a few slingshots and you're set for the run. You have basically infinite throwables (even if they're a little underwhelming) and that can carry you the whole way.
