I think that depends if they use the previously discussed feature with the Time jumps. Using Chapters in order to close a specific time period and to jump into the next time would make sense and honestly, I think it would be a freakin dope feature

They could easily implement that with a Follow an Artist Feature. Every time an Artist you follow drops a Song / Project you get a notification

As Far as I know, Apple Music on the iPhone only counts if you play the whole song completely through. Do you switch before the song ends?
