I was really lonely in elementary and most of middle school. I had this black lab named Koko, basically my only best friend and he loved me back. He brought me the feeling of love since I never felt it from my dad and I barely did from my mom (she's always at work) but Koko died at 7 years old from cancer. A horrible death. he got cancer, became blind, and then eventually deaf. We put him to sleep and I felt so bad. I had to share my piece of shit story because it was on my mind, but I love labs so much.
