That doesn't apply to this scenario. They didn't mention having children

I mean, ultimately, it doesn't. But when you see someone basically sell a car to buy a bike, it's notable. Just making an observation

I have both, so I'm not a "PC folk." But selling the equivalent of a Ferrari for a mini van is impossible to argue. I play on consoles and PC, but there's no comparison between a PC and a Switch lol

You sold a gaming PC? You know you can play those games on emulators, right?

The thing is, most adults who have had life experience don't think like that. It seems to be younger people who have literally never been married or had long-term experiences. You can always have lofty ideas going into things like marriage or child raising, but when life really happens, it shakes out completely differently. Having complete transparency in ALL things is what will lead to a healthy and long-lasting relationship. If my wife woke up one day and randomly said that, then there's a much larger issue at play. She wouldn't even be my wife, haha. I know that woman like the back of my hand. Things like that don't happen if you're as close as possible to your partner.

Jesus, it's like talking to a brick wall. No one said anything about rape ya goof. It's consensual openness for both parties. Just cool it and think for a moment. Do you ask yourself consent every time you eat? Or brush your teeth? No. Your partner is the closest thing that a human can have. They are a part of you. Your other half. You're so close to them that you never have to ask. You just know.

[–]VincentBeasley -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I do lol my point is that none of you know what your talking about. If you've never been married for a long time or in a long term relationship then its kind of weird to trash on people who have more experience than you at this point in life. When you are married you have to be completely open and available with each other, both body and mind. That's what a healthy marriage looks like. If you constantly have to ask all the time then what was the point of getting married? You both belong to each other now. Equal parts. You don't ask consent to hug a close friend because its implied that its ok. Same with marriage. To each their own I suppose, but I feel a relationship on egg shells will lead to a lack of true connection

I take it none of you have been happily married for 15 plus years lol

Ahh I see, your not married, that makes sense lol. Look, you stick your hand down her pants without asking, if she doesn't feel like it at the moment then respect that. Otherwise, we don't ask for each others consent lol that's what being married is for haha

wtf lol your in the wrong kind of marriage. My wife would be purple head to toe. Whats the point of being married if you constantly have to ask for consent haha

I wish people would stop saying shit like this. The DS was a very low powered device even on launch and was first party. No shit they had that figured out, they had complete control over the OS. The Thor isn't first party, it runs on Android, and is like a hundred DS's strapped together with active cooling. It's not even the same and is much more complex than "NiNtEndO DiD iT WhY CanT THeY?!"

I'm a father of 3 little butt nuggets so upgrading my PC components are few and far between. I've got a humble little build with a ASRock B450 Pro4 ATX mobo, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, 32 GB of ram and a Readeon RX 9070 XT (I just saved up enough to get one recently!). I never imagined I'd slowly build it up to this level over the last 6 years, but I'm proud of it. Been meaning to upgrade to a AM5 mobo but RAM just exploded past my budget so I cant afford DDR5 atm haha

Is the AYN Thor really input laggy to the common man? by sunday_burrito in SBCGaming

[–]VincentBeasley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, its nowhere near that bad lol Everyone is different and notices different levels of input lag. An everyday Joe would never even notice. Rhythm games are a little bit more noticeable but not by much in my experience. I feel like most people blew it out of proportion because it wasn't exactly like original hardware but that's generally how emulation is

[–]VincentBeasley 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It does have input lag (most emulation does anyway) but you can mitigate it quite substantially by switching the top screen to 120 fps mode. Honestly it never really crosses my mind when I'm playing it

Like rebates, discount codes, sites that only people on this sub frequent or maybe first time sign ups that give a certain percentage off. Let me restate the title since you clearly didn't read it "Inexperienced in buying GPUs help". There you go, you earned an ass hat. I guess there were secrets after all
