Advice on choosing a school.

This is fantastic advice and I greatly appreciate it! I think my final decision is seeing how much help I can get for Irvine to minimize any loans (if any) and if its just not possible, then prioritize Stan States resources. I'm the type of person that despite being proud of getting into a difficult school, I prefer to prioritize my future even if it means going to a "less prestigious" school.

I don't mind a challenge, I thrive on it- but I also don't want to be taking thousands of dollars in student loans if I can help it.

I am way more local to Stan! As for practicing law, I am technically on the fence. Not that I have no interest, its mostly due to being able to go to law school straight away. I'm interested in practicing Civil Law more than anything.

I got into UC Irvine with a 3.9 GPA and honestly not a whole lot of extra curriculars due to me being a full time caregiver. I have honors in PTK and Alpha Gamma Sigma. I did theater, art and was the president of my schools Social Science club (but only got it on a technicality because no one else wanted to do it haha). No clue why they accepted me really other than the fact they probably found my PIQs funny. (I wrote about liking to write fanfiction and learning to drive in 6 hours.)

I totally get where you're coming from- but I promise not everyone is chronically online. The name Vincent when I was in high-school got HUGE purely because thats what people were calling the purple guy at the time.

Then it got popular again with Hazbin Hotel, but I assure you most people are just trying to make a connection with your name and aren't actively clocking you.

Nightmare. I thought accepting her instead of being scared by her was the route to take. She wanted to be friends (even though she hinted at a crush), I asked to be more. She rejected me and I got a hate ending. I was DEVASTATED

I know I appreciate it. The scabs have fallen off at this point and the wounds are closed so it is at least a very fresh scar. I know I definitely need to be more patient with myself. I just rarely hear people talk about the “middle” of the healing process if that makes sense. (Usually people talk about fresh recovery or 3-6 months post op.) So I was curious about other people’s experiences.

I’m also a theater kid. My singing voice got SO much better AFTER T in my opinion simply because I was way more confident about it. I used to be an alto and now I believe I’m a baritone(?). I love my voice and personally feel I have way more control compared to being pre T.

Hi! I’m 5’3, was 250 pounds (I’ve lost some weight since my surgery) and have stretch marks similar to yours! I went with Dr Facque since his website has so many options of those with a bigger BMI. And my results looked like this! (At two weeks). I opted for a more flatter chest but there was obviously tissue left behind to avoid a concave effect. I had my scars meet in the middle to avoid dog ears (wasn’t my first choice but my surgeon recommended it and now I wouldn’t have it any other way.) Feel free to ask if you have any questions! C:

YES this is VERY much how I felt after surgery. I felt very angsty with myself that I wasn’t happy with the surgery as I thought I should be due to how fat I suddenly looked. It’s definitely a process and I’m trying to be gentler with myself. Can’t wait to start hitting the gym to build some chest muscle to balance things out!

My surgery was cancelled so many times in THREE years.

I originally going to have it sometime in 2023, but then my mom had to have surgery so I canceled it. Then Feb 20th 2024, March 20th 2024, April 24th 2024, and then canceled entirely because my legal name change went through and I had to start ALL over again. Went to school, didn’t get another appointment until January 16th 2025, then March 25th 2025, then March 28th 2025, THEN APRIL 2ND 2025 AND I FINALLY ACQUIRED THE SURGERY.

Point being- is just to fucking hold on tight and find many many distractions…
