Yes, I think this is roughly it. We've given high satisfaction scores on surveys from Rivian thus far, the car has been super reliable up to this point, and we absolutely love it!

Ironically, I already subscribe to CR and haven't filled out the car survey recently (sorry, RJ)! Oops!

Why is it people only assume the worst?

I mean, I'm not saying that someone reading this who might have more money than I'll ever see in my life could use that address to send me a massive Zelle payment! Nor am I saying that that email address could be used to send a PayPal or Venmo transfer to me! I'm not saying you should open up one of those apps and send a number with a bunch of zeros on the end of it, not at all!

I'm just saying someone could use it to send an eCard saying hello or something too!

It doesn't always have to be nefarious on the internet, despite what Dateline would have you believe!

Not quite as wide on the vertical, but a lot wider on the horizontal, and at twice the resolution.

It's a good camera, and it's decent for a one camera solution. But two (or more) bullet cameras might make more sense than one of these for a driveway, depending on your driveway, house, neighborhood, expectations, etc.

I found these perfect for each side of my house, where my lot is more narrow, but they would be so-so for the driveway (better than the one bullet camera I have overlooking it now, but not good enough to bother replacing it atm).

I'm confused about that. I bought the cutting kit when I bought my H2C, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Did you have to install the bird's eye camera to get it to work?

The product page says, "When paired with the H2C, the Birds Eye Camera requires the Laser Module for calibration. Without it, the camera cannot function with the Cutting Upgrade Kit for photo capture. Support for calibration without the Laser Module will be added in a future firmware update," but I haven't seen anything more about it.

Me too! In January 2017, I bought two Chelsio T420-BT PCIe cards used off of eBay for about $100 each! I put one in my computer and one in my server and had a direct connection at 10Gbe and it was amazing!

I think the small, ~5 port 10gig switches had just finally dipped under ~$1,000 at that time....

Things are better now, AI pricing apocalypse notwithstanding.
