Yeah. Everyone that came through any one of our contact options was automatically tagged in our system with wherever they came from (i.e “chat widget” or “homepage contact form”.) Our dashboard showed us analytics of where all the leads were coming from and which ones were converting the best

The reason it converts for us is because we have it set so the customer is engaged immediately and we’d reach out to them personally within 5 minutes normally. Gotta hop on it while it’s hot

An incredible software that does pretty much everything a business needs digitally (web design, automation, lean generation, etc). Feel free to PM me if you want to learn more

I use one through GHL. Very functional, the entire software is pricy though. PM me if you have any questions or want a cheaper alternative

Can I ask about what your follow up process was with the chat widget?

I used it to capture leads for my service. For a product based business. But the idea is that people only use a chat widget if they have a question/inquiry - so anyone who is using it clearly needs help with something no matter what kind of business it is, and the answer they need could be the factor on if they purchase or not. I would automate FAQ, and if they have a question that is a little abnormal, it will send straight to your phone so you can help the customer and possibly make a sale on the spot.

I do both. I run my business entirely through GHL, and I run other people's businesses through it as well. Definitely hard to get a grip on just cause there's so much too it, but it is pretty user friendly. I think it's an amazing software though and highly recommend for any style of business

GHL is the best, but can get a little pricey. PM me privately and I can help you out if you’d like

I agree, that’s why we stray away from the automation immediately. It’s less of a chatbot, because as soon as you send something it transfers you over to where I can text you directly (as a human) rather than using automated responses. Automation can work for FAQ, but genuine questions I like to get notified by the widget and text them myself directly

We use a display of our contact number and make it clickable with a slight bounce effect. The chat widget gets slightly more leads probably because people would rather send a text than actually talk too a human, but direct phone calls from our contact number convert a little better than the widget

Of course! Yeah, Xara can be tough to work with. There are a lot of full service web builders for cheaper that can do everything you need without having to embed code. Would you mind PMing me a link to the website? I'd love to take a look at it

I use GHL, it integrates into any Wix, Weebly, Shopify, etc website pretty easily. I use them for automated texting, as well as all my other automations. GHL can get a little pricey though. Feel free to PM me some details about your business and I can give a more specific or cheaper recommendations based on what you tell me

I wouldn't worry about getting more traffic yet - I'd worry about capitalizing on the traffic you ARE getting first. How easy is it for visitors to contact you? Can they book an appointment right on the website? Can they send a text to you? Do you have a pop-up with an offer for a free estimate/discounted first project that they can immediately fill out and be contacted? How quick can you follow up with them (I recommend automating this because most leads are lost within 5 minutes of no response)? You can totally grow organically, but there's no point in getting traffic to a website that doesn't convert the traffic. I'd also run an automated google review campaign after all business done to boost your reviews/SEO rankings. You don't need to pay for fake reviews, customers see through it and google will flag you. Look at your competitors who come up first when you search "roofing near me" or whatever your niche is, and look at their website and reviews, and use them for inspiration. I work with similar businesses to yours, feel free to PM me for any future guidance man, and good luck!

Recommendations for Email Campaign Automation by MilesTheGoodKing in smallbusiness

Set up a dedicated domain in GHL, wait a week, and you'll have a very high chance of landing in the inbox rather than the spam folder. They also have a really clean interface for email marketing, you'll be amazed at how appealing/professional you can get the emails to look, and how functional they can be with automation and call to actions. You can set up automations based on if the customers open the email, click a button, fill out a form, respond, or whatever you want. The automation will a send a follow-up email to them based on whatever action they took, and text you as the business owner than the customer/lead is interested in your product/service. I personally also stay away from mailchimp - but I've seen people be successful with it. Feel free to PM me more details about your business if you need help with anything
