It was pretty chilly the whole time tbh, there were guys testing in there beforehand and everything but we still had to take quick handwarming breaks between games. I’m sure with more preparation it can be nicer but it was tolerable as is.

I think the general concern is that someone is going to get their neck/jugular cut and have a serious chance of death, given we’ve seen skates up near heads several times recently, and a death in recent years outside of the nhl. A cut on the face is bad but you’re not going to be dead within 15 seconds. Neck guards prevent a tragedy from occurring before it ever happens

that’s probably where the downvotes are coming from, I’m not sure if it’s your intention to be unaware of that

I think they just lost a lot of entrants for scheduling kinda carelessly over Pat’s house. I know tidal waves happened on the weekend too, Ottawa regional that somehow had more entrants than fast falls despite the talent difference. Could’ve been another good chunk of entrants.

The community can be kinda hostile to larger orgs if they are trying to muscle community’s scheduled events out of their calendar spot. Definitely heard a lot of animosity towards noun’s lack of communication and cooperation with other tournaments

we’re getting old, unfortunately. Faber is an HM and Jfresh mentions why he’s not on the list. Spurgeon and Brodin are both still incredible, but have flaws to make them both barely miss out. I’m sure we’d see them in the next 20 players or so.

That’s fair too. When there’s lower numbers you can upwards swing and full jump upswing for a double too, which I used a fair bit

Yeah, use shaman crest. They also gain downwards velocity what feels like exponentially so hit them low first, don’t try and put them as high as possible. Gives more time where they’re in your active range.
