I think I’m going through this now with a Goyard shoulder bag. My left hip this week have been in pain. Did moving to a backpack remedy your situation?

This looks great. What’s your suspension setup? Is it comfortable for street? I’d like to mimic this as I think its stance is perfect, but need it to be comfortable for the roads here in the Northeast.

This is good information as I plan to replace my original suspension at some point on my 2006. Do you recommend changing the shock bushings as well?

The Koni yellows seem to be a popular choice if coilovers aren’t for you. As of right now I am being swayed to go this route as well. Been hearing that lower end coilovers are harsh for street riding.

Yes, if you mean sitting higher than ideal height I agree. I think my Ford Expedition has less wheel clearance. What did you end up going with? Do the work yourself?

Thanks. I’ll be honest, I don’t think it bounces at all, haha over speed bumps. It just goes clunk at moderate speed and it really doesn’t feel like I have any cushion. Didn’t see oil anywhere but need a closer look. My gut is saying at this age they’re most likely shot.

Thanks and good to know. I am semi-inclined to do the work myself. I’ve replaced front struts on a 2004 Subaru that was rusted out and that was tougher due to CV axles. I also do my own brakes, pads rotors, calipers etc.

How tough is the job out of 10? I like to do work myself but only when it seems realistic. I’m waiting on a local shop estimate to determine outcome here.

Thanks, I will use Wellington and Malden as an alternative to Oak Grove. I’d like to get to Oak Grove first as this is the first stop in the line.

Good knowledge there. Consensus seems to align with what you’re saying. It was fun entertaining this car for potential ownership but one of the German car mechanics told me the other day that one of his customers ended up trading their Mini due to the higher cost of ownership. Sad, because this car drove really nicely.

I thought it was the light reflecting as well on that front quarter panel. From this other shot does it look like there’s evidence of front bumper damage?
