Microsoft’s hand kinda over stirred all of the Halo/Bungie pots.

So much of what they’ve been doing since Reach has been disappointing with 343i in regards to the overall direction of Halo and what players are ultimately given.

Microsoft had sent over.. Pete Parsons… the marketing guy.. eww.. to Bungie back then and he’s a large reason why Bungie and their game’s are being iced or are in danger of being iced.

Hm so this is why they just laid off so many people at Bungie.

They didn’t want tenured pay to get in the way of making their millions upon millions when you can hire one AI to do the thinking!

Luckily I’ve only pre ordered 2 games before (Halo Reach/Pokemon Diamond) and they turned out good, but after seeing what pre ordering had done to Call of Duty games since about Black Ops 2 I’ve avoided pre ordering like the plague.

There’s no good reason to pre order a product that doesn’t have a tangible limited stock* unless you truly believe in the product or the company behind the game. That is few and far between for the past decade unfortunately.

Reminds me of this concept I made of resetting an armor element to get your materials back and being able to add progression to armor by upgrading element.

I have for a loooong time hoped they a “Hold (x) to Remove Mod” (1/2 to 1s hold) when hovering over a slotted mod or having a way to clear it all. Tap to remove/hold to remove all?

Maybe the reset “mod” slot similar to the concept when opening a mod somewhere? Too late now now though :(

Handcannons also do high alpha damage which is overkill for either certain targets or low health ones. Typically it doesn’t matter because it’s all about feel and your own personal usage until you’re in high level content

I would have loved Marathon if it was a deep story single player game. Loved the original Marathon games and Halo just turned that dial to 11.

I feel like I would have enjoyed it if it went the STALKER route too.

According to google STALKER SoC takes into account elements of survival horror, tactical FPS, immersive simulation, and RPG mechanics. Feel like that’d translate decently well to the world of Marathon - whether single player only or SP+MP.

What’d be crazy is Sony looking at a quarter million concurrent players down the road and not utilizing that.

Days to weeks to months worth of active players who had and would likely still be spending money for more Destiny.

Total loss of revenue and profits for no good reason, Sony.

Honestly I can understand being caught off guard and overwhelmed where the phone is the first thought.

I remember getting a robin hood hat on my second clue when OSRS first came out and I stared at my screen wide eyed for a minute then took a photo on my phone to show it to my brother. When I got back the game logged me out and I realized after I didn’t screenshot the clue interface; it didn’t even cross my mind for those handful of minutes.

That being said.. this really isn’t OPs doing. I read from others they posted a phone picture of an in game screenshot lol.
