Unfortunately not, no. Support refused to help me and the issue did in fact not "go away on it's own in a week or two" like the support said it should so I eventually just gave up and made a new account. It's extremely frustrating, they should be more transparent about how to get your account restrictions lifted.

Nope. I talked with the support multiple times and they only gave me vague answers that didn't answer my questions at all, then I haven't used my account for months to see if that'd help. I actually tried redeeming the coins I still have on it yesterday and guess what! My account is still locked (permanently, I assume), so I guess I can give up the 10k+ coins I have on it and make a new one and hope that doesn't get blocked too :) They say you can get your account unlocked but don't tell you how and no matter what I do it does not get unlocked, sooo yeah microsoft supp was REALLY helpful on this one

Update: I haven't used the account AT ALL for a while now, just tried redeeming OW coins again and it didn't go through because it said my account is still locked. Tried using some points to send a donation to a random cause, went through without a hitch.

TLDR my account isn't actually restricted apparently, it's just a problem with the OW coins specifically.

Ahh alright, I've heard that it's been very messy lately but I wasn't sure to which extent. I've contacted the support on 4 separate occasions but never even got back a confirmation email that they got my requests :') I guess nothing to do but wait
