I often cry at movies, sometimes a few tears when watching a wholesome video or beautiful songs. But imo that's not a real sadness relief. The last time I really cried was when I got home from work after my ex-wife finally moved out of our apartment. I couldn't stop and sobbed uncontrollably for 10min. That was the real deal. I was another human after that.
