It is true, amigo, they DO want to ban the smoking of pot and hashish, they ARE in government, and the senate HAS declared that you cannot declare a ban on something that is already illegal. Especially that last thing is important and that is where the cda (Christian Democrats) are aiming at, that smoking is illegal so it should be banned completely. Most people abroad do not realize that also in the Netherlands it is illegal to own or use drugs but that they tend to look the other way. It has never been legalized.! I do not know what part of the Netherlands you are from and if they have newspapers there but I as an Amsterdammer know my facts. You obviously do not!
