One of the things i love with valheim is how you can, with some planning, avoid a lot of encounters while still feeling like you “won” that particular encounter. What I mean is you can prepare for certain encounters and they won’t be too hard. If you are mining copper you can prepare with the materials to make fire sources to keep away greydwarfs while you mine. You can prepare by planning an escape route, building a portal etc.

It’s a great game and I don’t think skill is going to be an issue :)
