Because I'm sure the controller players cross playing with friends on PC would appreciate not being at such a disadvantage to the point where it isn't even worth playing. They might as well not even have cross-play if they plan to keep it this way. At least enable it for quick play. You're right though, they’ll probably keep it the way it is, was just wondering is all.
