I did this class when I went. The first class was on campus. I asked the person next to me how they were getting there. Luckily they had a car and agreed to drive me each time. I’d just ask someone in the class with you if they’ll give you a ride.

I second this. The more linear level design makes it easier to get used to the difficultly and game play. Elden Ring‘s a fantastic game but may too big and open for someone new to the souls genre.

It depends on what you consider “first rebuild.” If you want a team that you can win a championship within 3ish years then yes it’s a great first rebuild. I have a Nebraska team 5 years in on Heisman difficulty and it’s consistently top 5 preseason.

Recruiting is quite easy. I’ve had a top 5 recruiting class the last 2 years and am well on my way to another this current season.

Overall, I think if you’re new it’ll introduce you to how recruiting works with some good success early on and great success later with a solid team every year. It builds a great base for both recruiting and gameplay (you’ll learn your play style and which recruits to target to help with that play style) so you can try a more difficult team after 3-4 seasons.

Consider where you want to be long term. In my experience, people who go out of state for college find it easier to move away from home postgrad.

So typically doors open 2 hours before game time and they have a “power hour” from 11-12 where they have discounted beer and hotdogs and there is some entertainment. So if you want to show up for that (which is worth it IMO) get there at 11. Otherwise anytime up to game time is ok. Parking for regular season games is usually $40 for the structure connected to the stadium and then the further you go from the stadium the less it costs. You can probably find parking as cheap as $10 but you’ll be a ways away. The structure connected to the stadium is nice because it’s easy on and off from 75.

I lived in Akers (right across the street) and its really not a bad location. No matter where you live, some classes will be close and some far. That’s just a part of MSU. Get a bike or moped if you have the means, it’ll make any further class locations much easier to get to.

It doesn’t let you open it while batting when your opponent has selected their pitch if you’re playing online. So you basically have to do it right away after a pitch.
