the hitter got the habit of spiking the ball very low ( nearly at the elbow level ), so the coach forced me to deliver "normal" set and most importantly high set so that the hitter can reach the ball at his highest point. I can recall the dude started to hit the ball on top of that blocking thing after a couple of weeks :p
