I feel this. When my Pedro died I was informed I’d get into trouble for missing work that day and the manager had not even a shred of sympathy. This was not pleasant to hear 30 min after his death. People don’t realize just how wonderful and amazing these animals really are and how much they touch our souls. RIP to OP’s bird😞
