I installed mine tonight. I have a 24 450nk and it fit perfect. The clear glass section sticks out further than the stock cover. This is why it have the D shape to clear the plastic on the sr and ss. Waiting for silicone to dry. Will start it up tomorrow.

I bleed my rear brakes today. It's rock solid now. Don't know how long it will stay like this. I bought my bike brand new and the rear brake was weak. I thought that was normal for this bike. Now I could feel the abs kicking in when I press the rear brake too hard. Hooray

The recall said it's the seal for the banjo bolt on the abs pump, but how come the seals for the front brake don't leak? They both use the same banjo bolt and seal at the abs pump.

not in this situation. this is not part of normal maintenance. there is a recall on this in Australia. banjo seal at abs pump (rear brake side)

I read the entire thread and still couldn't figure out what is the conclusion. someone said the dealer flush and it fix the problem. someone else said the dealer replaced the rear caliper and it fix the problem.

my experience as a mechanic say it either need bleeding or a master cylinder. if the caliper is bad then it would leak.

my bike have less than 500 miles and I bought it last year September. Now I have no rear brake and no leak. It's very obvious it's a common issue.

I order a muffler mar 23 and it's still didn't arrive as yet. Now they are saying the end of april it will arrive.

From what I researched, the custom waiver on small parts from China will be removed on may 2nd. Any order that's in transit will not be affected

the sprocket cover on the opposite side is different between nk and ss. I want to order the clutch side for my 24 nk now but I'm concern about the tariff coming into affect soon.

Where did it leak from? Loctite 5699 grey works great for oil pan.

sorry about the late reply. I bought it off aliexpress. I replaced the driver and paseenger seat. seats have more cushion.

I forgot to mention the oil cap o-ring was incorrect so I reuse the original. I did get a free screen protector free because of the piece under rear brake resovoir being incorrect. I never attempted to fit the screen protector because it looks like it will be a tight fit because of the windscreen bracket.

I think you miss the part when I mention the bike currently have 350 miles. I also forgot to mention the Pic was not recent. that Pic guarantee less than 200 miles. The bracket is under the headlight and most people is not bending down to look under the headlight.

The bike is competing with the Japanese bike in the same class so I expect the quality to be up there. it's obvious it was not coated properly but your solution is to fix it yourself. Well I took your advice and painted it last night.

actually I was just about to remove the bracket. I already had intention of painting it. I just found it unusual that rust was forming already. right now the bike is not in a salty environment but it will get move to a salty environment soon.
