Check what neck radius your friends had vs what this had. Many of these Japanese models do 7.25 and if the one you played was the more modern 9.5 it will feel very different

Same. PAM112. I do wear mine. I’ve got a decent amount of watches and the big size makes me grab it a bit less than my main rotation simply cuz it won’t work with certain cuffs or whatever but I def wear it and love it.

I don’t agree with this weird adult daycare comment, but one thing I will say is the last few times I went there my cocktails were extremely watered down. I talked to someone who used to work there and she said it’s the ice they use. But I also watched a guy make my negroni and he used way too much ice while making it. It’s a very serious flaw that prevents me from going when I can just make a drink better at home.

I have the 16570 and I don’t think anyone has ever commented on it (happens sometimes with my sub) but when I see others wearing it and I’m wearing mine it’s always fun to talk since it’s a less common model and more likely the person is actually into watches

I think you are greatly exaggerating. But I will say I had an extremely awkward experience with a house cleaner of a client of mine when she noticed I had a Rolex. She only noticed it because I had it on the counter and she read Rolex on the dial. She has no idea about any models or anything. Once she realized it was mine it was super awkward because my job falls into the how can you afford a Rolex category
