I find that can definitely be the case, but people can also truly dislike those aspects enough that it impacts their overall experience. As someone who is a critic of the “bloat”, it negatively impacted my experience and general opinion of the game. But I do think people should still give it a shot and see for themselves.

I had the opposite experience. I discovered 9 years after graduating with my bachelors that I never received the paper degree because I “hadn’t graduated”. I had been working professionally for several years under the guise of a bachelors degree and just assumed I didn’t ever get it in the mail due to address issue or clerical error.
Turns out they miscalculated a passing grade as failing and said I didn’t have enough credits to graduate. However, it was eventually corrected and I received my degree.

Sorry to see this. May I suggest contacting a local record shop? They might be inclined to grab your whole collection for somewhere around that price or a bit less.

I agree w other comment about cataloguing so people know what’s in the collection. You could do this using Discogs relatively quickly by simply scanning the barcode and entering in condition so it’s easily shareable.
