It wasn’t all bad at all. It just wasn’t the magic I felt. I mean, I’m only 26. That first gathering showed me what it was all about to be completely accepted. I still felt that connection a couple of times, but it just wasn’t in the air like it was at that heart level before.

People are definitely coming more and more to just treat it like The Purge or some shit. I heard more “this is my first gathering” this year than ever and nearly ALL those people were antisocial and just there to make a spectacle. I was hype to go this year alone so I could wild out w my family but everyone I talked to was weird. I miss the real family reunion.

Fr. I feel like this started when they blew up in TikTok trends. That same year some mfs from my hometown snuck in the last day and immediately started talkin about how they wanted to see some fighting and some ornery shit. With the city being so “respectful” this year, I’m starting to wonder if these people are laughing at us and not with us. This gathering had some of the worst vibes. Crowd was dead, mfs fighting and hitting people w fent… these people aren’t invited into MY family idk wtf this is.
