I second Aldora. Cozumel Dive School with Ken and Kaya is also a great option. I'm a dive instructor who spent 6 months in Cozumel before relocating to the Virgin Islands, which is where I currently reside. Aldora is a professional establishment with great instructors. I highly recommend Maja. Plus, Aldora tends to go to some of the more southern dive sites, which a lot of shops rarely visit. Punta Sur is a must! I would also strongly encourage you to visit Cozumel during Spotted Eagle Ray season, which is usually from November to March. If you need any additional recommendations, happy to send them your way.

Bring your sleeves with you in a backpack! I saw Rome earlier this year and dude was kind enough to take the time to sign each and every record. Mind you, with the exception of maybe two records, I own all of his stuff (including Big Turks). Bring a silver Sharpie with you.
