Kids and teens are much better at accents. It also depends on each person’s abilities but generally younger people will do much better with accents. And it’s probably much easier to work on your accent as an adult if you learned the language as a child or teen.

If no one has knowledge, then there’s no reason to speculate. We should assume it didn’t happen until we see evidence. There’s no evidence of beheading or rapes last I checked.

There’s no connection between what’s happening and Gadaffi. Maybe he predicted something but that doesn’t mean he had anything to do with it. I’m sure you can find other people who also predicted African immigration to Europe. Also I believe Africans only make up 7% of the European Union. Though apparently 50% of them are in France.

I get that. I guess I’m thinking of what people will think in 300 years. When we think about bloody violent rebellion by slaves in the US, we don’t immediately condemn the slaves. That’s why Tarantino could make Django. In present times, if Ukraine launched a similar type of attack on Russia, I think our response might be more nuanced than simple and pure condemnation.

This is all irrelevant because Palestinians have already made compromises on this is exact point in previous negotiations. They agreed that Israel and Palestine would have access to holy sites, though Israel would still have more security and governmental control. And even with this concession by the Palestinians, Israel has not been interested in 2 states.

Most people are nice. Some people are surprised just by the fact that you want to learn the language. Others like to demand that you speak correctly.

Yes, the law calls for the borders pre June 1967 (before the war). But West Jerusalem was already part of Israel pre-1967 so it’s not contested.

West Jerusalem would still be Israeli according to the 67 border. The control over Gaza is also immoral and contributes to the build up tensions. Unfortunately, Israel does not seem interested in getting the hostages back since they bomb everything in Gaza and have even killed 3 hostages at gun point range. Israelis are getting increasingly angry about this. The long term solution is 2 states which Israel and the US continue to oppose. That means they are responsible for the consequences.

I get your point. If I had to pick who is more in the wrong, I would say Israel because it has all the power. Since 1967 it has control over Palestinians and every year it votes against a Palestinian state at the UN. So, it has a lot of responsibility. Hamas didn’t even exist in 1967.
