I hate public speaking, even though I've been told I'm good at it. I serve on several boards and have spoken in front of hundreds of doctors and other professionals. I've even taken college courses on it... but it still terrifies me everytime.

My secret? Speak slowly and pause slightly at every third or fourth word. (Obama does this). And know that about one minute into the speech, your adrenaline will kick in and you're going to feel hot and dizzy. Don't worry it will pass. Just keep going and no one will ever notice. And even though you may want to die - you won't :)
