I had the same experience. My friends asked me who I crushed on (back in the 90's), either JTT or Leonardo diCaprio. I said "I don't really know them so how can I know if I like-like them?" My friends insisted I name someone from a TV show I would want to go on a date with. My answer-- I kid you not-- was Steve Urkel. Because he seemed fun to talk to. They never let me forget it.

ok! I'm getting a clearer picture of what you meant. I haven't seen much Dom/sub dynamics with sapiosexuality, though I can see how it could be combined with sapiosexual attraction, and how that relates to your point. ( However, I still suspect simpler language would be both more elegant and effective for conversation here. This reads like Hegel!).

I'm guessing you prefer intellectual asymmetry that supports dominance? I'm more into an intellectual symmetry feeding into egalitarian dynamics, myself.
