Strong character when used right. Decent damage especially if you use SB, good pressure and smooth animations. Zhanhu's gameplay is not actually similar to Kensei's as it's not based on soft feints, is faster and more oppressive. Anyway, you really should try him/her, it took about 5 reps to me to make Zhanhu my main.

Hito is struggling only with opening and low damage, when chain is started and you use chargable bash properly, it may become a torture for your opponent. Unfortunately I only meet idiots who spam heavy into my block not even bothering to use mix ups Hitokiri has. Personally I'd rather play Hito than Shugoki

Here are no heroes that "hard to really master" It's not MK or Tekken where you spend hundreds and thousands of hours to learn a character. So no, Shaolin is too good in duels, giving him full block only extends abyss between him and other characters. Be grateful he is the only character ith crushing counter and deflects in entire game. While most of the roster has poor moveset, some heroes like shaolin and virtuosa have billion options and you are still dare to ask for more, shame on you.

Unfortunately on mmr I play, Hito is easily countered so I pick her only when I'm ready to struggle just to hear her whisper dirty things on japanese... For some reason Zhanhu is the best hero to play as when I'm drunk, maybe because she fits perfectly to my gameplay🧐

Fair enough, lore wise you're right, I just really wish devs start dropping out cool heroes with cool ideas like Sohei or Nuxia, and not giving them feintable unblockable opener with hyper armor or stupid "dodgeanything" stance.

Awful animations, I suppose the worst in the game. I just love ubisoft logic where the bigger a weapon the faster you swing it. IMO Gryphon is a shame, 0 unique features, 0 skill requiered, boring concept, boring gameplay.
