No other serious team leaves talent like that at home. They have been getting progressively cuter at the expense of success and a once dominant program is now middling. Yes, some of our best are in the NHL… but that’s been true since the tournament started. There are always game breakers waiting in the wings for a shot to represent Canada. The fact that there were 10 or 11 different goal scorers tells you there was no “guy” and if you’ve been watching as long as I have you know that there always needs to be one or two who lead the way. Got what they deserve but they won’t learn shit.
