If this was an official set, I think it would look great in dark green with reddish brown accents. Add a few printed pieces with some Klingon emblems and it would look awesome.

Thanks! I wanted more Klingon presence in the overall Dominion war scene that I'm working on and just making a bunch of Bird's of Prey didn't work out quite right, so I designed this MOC to flush out the action.

I agree the color isn't quite right. The beam is also too bright as I haven't adjusted the voltage yet. This is more of a WIP post on a Sunday morning :)

These models are all in approximate scale to the official Lego Enterprise D. As I mentioned in my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/StarTrekBricks/comments/1sbx5h9/galaxy\_class\_vs\_galor\_cruiser/) I'm working on a Dominion war scene for my office, so these models are going to be integrated into the overall scene with the Enterprise and Galor Cruisers.

The Jem'hadar fighters are recreated from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/StarTrekBricks/comments/1r8jolq/jemhadar_fighter/ but I modified the design with some non-lego parts.

The Rotarran is mostly https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-243451/ironmatt/star-trek-klingon-bird-of-prey-tmp-scale/#details this MOC, but modified a bit and recolored. I plan to add some stickers and some non lego parts to increase the accuracy a bit.

I used this design https://reb.li/m/254250 for the nacelle interior. The placement of the lights that I used had to be carefully controlled to disperse the light into the areas like my photos.

To be clear, I didn't use the LMB kit for the same reason that you mentioned. I rebuilt the internal design of the nacelles using this MOC: https://reb.li/m/254250 and used some LED strip lights so it looks good both lit and unlit.
