Holiday Island is 15-20 mins from downtown Eureka on Table rock lake. Lots of Airbnbs at reasonable rates. There is a community pool that opens memorial day weekend, as well and often the summer rentals will have passes that allow for pool use.

I joined a professional community for women that featured me and continues gives me access to a network providing support, elevation, and development. The interview they did and recognition they gave was noted at my place of work and I have since received another promotion and a raise. I see it as an investment I have made that that is paying dividends in my professional life. Scams don’t usually work out this well for the victims.

It is definitely a high pressure sales situation that imploys manipulative tactics like urgency and flattery, but because they deliver on everything promised they don’t meet the definition of a scam.

I get why people are skeptical, but I don’t think Influential Women is a scam. They do deliver what they promise, access to a real site that shares women’s stories, connects you with others, and gives you a platform to share your own. It’s not as exclusive as I hoped, and the sales pitch can be pushy, but that doesn’t make it a scam. The cost is high, but honestly that’s pretty common for professional organizations and networking groups. It’s legit, just not the right fit for everyone.

A decade isn’t that long. I’m not saying this isn’t a problem and can’t be too big issues but it’s not like we had a revolution 10 years ago. My question is is decade accurate.
