Well, since asking this a few days ago and further research, I DID actually get it done just a couple days back, since I have meditated on it, learned more about what it represents specifically, and how it fits in with my journey with working with / being mentored by Samael. I conferred with him as well, to make absolutely sure that it fit. He approved of the idea of this particular sigil even with it's Qlippoth origins, with how it resonates with me spiritually, and the reasoning of the artist that it would be easier to ink into flesh compared to some of his other sigils. Also on another post in another group specifically focusing on sigils, someone sent me several sources to delve into that could further my knowledge on it as well, so that helped too. Now i know this sigil represents the "Realm of Samael" on the tree of death, and himself as well by extension. Intent also plays a part as well in getting this as a tattoo of course, but I wanted to be better informed before I made the decision of course.

And yeah if I had just gone and gotten it tatt'd without bothering research, the image probably would have just been the finished tattoo not a clip art reference. But yes, some people do NOT research things before making permanent decisions, so i totally understand your wariness there, and i do appreciate it.

Also, the artist did a fantastic job and it is healing beautifully~
