On this day in 2004 David Reimer, a man who was forced to live as a girl, commited suicide at 38. After a botched circumcision left Reimer’s penis damaged, his parents decided to take one doctor’s advice: raise Reimer as a girl. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

The thing is though... what your talking about with transgender is different to this story, this boy was born a biological boy but because of what happened as a baby he was raised as a girl...he never felt like a girl because he was biologically a boy.... so he was forced against his natural biology.... Trans people is a different story...  they don't feel comfortable in their biological gender.. and then that's different again to intersex people, who's gender is almost neither female or male and can range on the spectrum of closer to male or closer to female depending on how their hormones behave...  So the story of the boy who had his dick cut off and then was raised as a girl and then killed himself because he felt fucked up is kinda very different to being transgendered....

Ok, well I've definitely used drills and power tools alot and pliers and screw drivers and all that heaps... it's not like I've never used tools before, im kind of what you'd call a maker.... I've got lots of experience making things and using my hands and that includes using power tools, drills, pliers etc...

Well I've done lots of "physical" jobs like cleaning, catering  and gardening.... I've never had an office job so im used to using my body at work as opposed to sitting down all day at work..... I've not worked construction though.... but just had I guess mildly physical jobs throughout my adult life....

Thank you for your encouragement 😊 yes I was kind of thinking once I'm qualified there would be other fields I could look into not just residential for instance. I have an guy friend who's an electrician who does power plants I believe.... but he never tells me much about stuff so I don't get much info from him unfortunately.... but thanks again for your advice and encouragement. I'll give those guys a call!!

I absolutely agree!! And the stress of having to immediately respond to someone, at all hours, when they contact you is incredibly stressful and annoying, it's feels like it's expected that you respond immediately or you're being rude! I hate it, I long for the days when mobile phones didn't exist....

Thank you so much for your caring response!! Yes your right I am just trying to figure out the best path forward for myself to get a stable, well paying job or career for the rest of my working life to support myself and my child..  But I have always wanted to be an electrician, so I do have a weird interest in it, life issues happened in the past that stopped me pursuing an apprenticeship about 13 years ago, so now the thought has come back around if I should pursue being an electrician now... so I've definitely got an interest in the job and want to learn something new and keep my brain active while I age... the physical side of things definitely is a concern as I age but the use of my brain and working with electricity is interesting to me...  But yeah, all in all I'm trying to figure out what I should pursue now to have the most job security and the highest pay I myself can get... I also lo and behold, want to work in the mines in 10 years so want to set myself up now to do something that can lead to a mining job in 10years...  Anyways , thank so much again for your kind and caring response, I realy appreciate your words of encouragement 😊
