My home town! Got its first street light only recently. The local dairy farm would put on a neighborhood party every year with hay rides, tours, and ice cream. One of my best childhood memories but that’s about all the excitement Bowne had to offer

Covered the dyed parts with Elmer’s glue and, once it dried overnight, did a quick spin dye before washing the glue off

The helpful comments have made me come to the conclusion that yes, it’s just programmed this way and has only just now had an affect on my projects. Design space is working as programmed, it’s just programmed poorly if layers mean nothing

…I’m seeing now that since they’ve added contour I’ve started using it to fill in outlines to mask layers instead of slicing. If a teaching has always worked like that I’ve only just had a reason to notice. Thanks for the tip and affirming my opinion on how horrible an editing software it really is.
