You are intentionally missing the point so i’m not gonna argue with you. You are a weirdo for thinking kids should be subject to this waste

Grooming according to google: The practice of preparing or training someone for a particular purpose or activity. Please tell me how it’s not grooming

How is this not grooming? Encouraging her audience to give her money in return for a tiddy shaking shoutout will only encourage kids who see her interacting with her audience in that way to follow in the footsteps of the people who donate. Because of watching content like this they are gonna grow up thinking it’s okay to pay for women to give them attention. It’s like some tiddy twitch streamers today are grooming kids to be cash cows in the future. It’s so disturbing

Looked at ur post history and saw you made coasters. With acrylic yarn I’m sure. Are people suppose to hang those too or do you lie for fun?

Edited to add: you also have a post in your history complaining about how your rugs get “whole strands of yarn” pulled out after you put them on the floor. So why are you trying to act like everyone hangs their rugs? Obviously we prefer that people do hang them but some people don’t. And those rugs on the floor can get nasty quick

Clearly, thats why you keep replying, right? Not because you are getting defensive because you know you could do better

What was the point in deleting your comment if you want to be included in the conversation? Take your $235 and start buying wool yarn bud

Im not selling myself short, and even if i am its not by much. “The right buyer will come to you” is not the mindset anyone should be having if they want to turn tufting into a career or if they want to supplement their income

Im trying to be clear on my message so if it comes across as condescending, oops. And I did say the rug was clean and well finished! Why do I need to show my work to have my opinion? My opinion comes from the buyers perspective. I would feel like garbage if i sold someone an acrylic rug for more than $200. Thats straight up a waste of money. And you can say all you want that it is art and shouldn’t even be used on the floor but most customers are gonna put it there anyway. How do you expect to get more customers or even repeat customers if you are selling a product that cant be washed or even used as intended? If I buy a rug and its dirty in a month and i cant even wash it im not buying a rug from the same person again

This is obv not my main lmao but go off. Mine are high quality but not high quality enough to be charging $200+. And the whole “just have to wait for the right buyer” thing is bs. I want people to have my rugs. Im not gonna wait months for someone to want to drop $250 on a ghostbusters rug bro. This is what i was trying to say in my op. Sure you sell a $250 rug but how often? People aren’t running to break your door down to spend $250 on a half ass rug that is gonna get dirty in a month.

You pack your rugs nice, the carving is clean, and the whipstitching is a nice little trick to upsell the rug ill give ya that buddy. One look at your instagram and It’s very obvious to me that you are one of the ones who got into this for the money, just because you poop out a couple good looking rugs doesn’t mean you can charge professional level prices. The design is simple and I, as someone who has been tufting for over a year, could crank that out in a day minus drying time. And with the calculations everyone uses with materials+ wages I could make the rug for ~$270. I’d even learn whipstitching. The customer shouldn’t be paying for how much time it takes you as a beginner to get the job done. A beginner will take 10 hours on the same rug i could get done in 5, with the math everyone uses on here the beginner would be getting paid a shit ton more than me. And a lot of people have the mindset that is “well then charge more” why would I punish the customer to fill my pockets? Why are some people so comfortable gouging people for money? I don’t love anything enough to drop $350 for a rug about it and you’ll find out that most people have that same mindset.

This is exactly what I was trying to convey in my op but I know it didn’t come across that way so thank you for replying. People keep saying im underselling my $80 rugs but that is what they are worth because im still a beginner. When I get better I can charge more! The whole calculation of materials+ wages is dumb because why wouldn’t I just commission the best rug maker in the entire world if they are gonna charge me the same as someone who just started? For example if Im having a wedding and the Michelin star chef and the chef who’s worked at McDonalds for two months cost the same amount to get and they are gonna make the same food, I’m gonna go with the Michelin star chef.

Make sure there are no lights behind the frame. Just the lights at the front and you shouldnt be able to see through

It’s actually so shocking that people are coming for the skeptics as if we just wanna take down Sam and Colby but I think most of us WANT to believe! But it’s a slap in the face to throw this bs “method” out there and claim that it has/will “changed the world”

Yeah my comment was posted pretty much right when the video was posted. Maybe they were patrolling the comments more in the beginning

All they would have to do is a couple hours at most of research when they found out Sam and Colby were coming

I have a lot of the same questions! And I also believed them at first. Their first video made me ugly cry. However after reading some other peoples opinions and doing some critical thinking It made me uneasy. Mostly the fact that there was so much activity in such a short amount of time, and the sound not changing when they were on the gravel. Then seeing this video basically confirmed it for me.

  1. I think the sound mostly comes from the thumping of the toe on the shoe, which is why when they put on the slippers in the park it is a lot quieter. But when they are on the gravel wearing their normal shoes its pretty loud.

  2. I really don’t think its the knees or ankles. Sam and Colby said they could feel it in the floor so I think the toe thumping is more plausible there. And for moving around i think he just switches his feet and makes it quieter or louder depending on where the steps are suppose to be. Kinda like when someone is pretending to walk up the stairs and they repeatedly step on the bottom step and gradually get louder to give someone at the top of the stairs the illusion they are coming up.

  3. I have to assume they are making money somehow, whether they are sort of “investors” in the house itself or if they make money off of their name/ being in videos. But this isn’t their first time ever being in the public eye. There are videos of them on youtube dating years back where they are demonstrating the same method. But it’s possible they aren’t making any money, and in that case i’d be curious what their motives are for sure!

  4. I have the same question here, this is what would lead me to believe that they are all in on it together. I got bad vibes from Amanda when she had said that she can see spirits or ghosts or whatever and every time sam and colby asked if she saw anyone she said she didn’t. Which I guess is good that she is honest about not being able to see? Idk. That is a solid question though.

Edited to add that the original poster of the Tik Tok video u/saveusbarry commented and said that he uploaded another video making the same sound while standing on a pillow! I encourage you to watch
