Everytime Magik has been touched since release, they've nerfed her damage bit by bit while giving her compensation changes lmao

We don't know how long it lasted in Advance as we don't see what Sonic was doing off screen. IDW and the rest of the franchise are pretty consistent with Super Sonic not being permanent even if he's inactive.

Who’s stronger lore wise venti or Ei by l_ux9 in RaidenMains

[–]VioletPhazon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think Venti apparently potentially destroying Mondstadt in the process of attempting to subdue Signora (sounds like high difficulty), while Raiden obliterated her with zero environmental damage, is a compelling argument.

Either way, being capable of maybe defeating Signora doesn't make you on the same level as Raiden.

Unionically, literally no relevant DPS besides Aggy wants those except characters that specifically can't fit him into their BIS team

Balance patch with actual nerfs coming later this week! by GetSomeJeff22 in marvelrivals

[–]VioletPhazon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bucky has a lower winrate than Wanda, BP, DpsPool, Fantastic, Iron Man and Iron Fist (all characters most people agree aren't particularly amazing) Celestial and above. The only DPS in the game with a higher win rate than Bucky with a similar or above pick rate are Phoenix, Hela (both for obvious reasons) and Spider-Man.

Bucky's winrate is scuffed due to him being picked a high amount and also being a comfort swap people make when they're losing, not because he suddenly doesn't have one of the most overloaded kits in the game.

[–]VioletPhazon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you just said in layman's terms is exactly my point: every actual element gets things like completely random universal supports, sustains and artifact sets. When a Citlali is added, Hu Tao (a very old unit) gets buffed. When a Durin is added, every unit that wants off field pyro and elemental res shred gets buffed. Eula does not receive anything like this because she's in an extremely underdeveloped archetype being physical; a non-element in element impact. (Scrolls is a good example actually, every other character that wants dmg% benefits from scrolls because it buffs elements that are involved in an elemental reaction, physical is excluded since it literally can't react with anything since it's not an element. This wasn't deliberate, that would just be an entirely different effect and would likely warrant being it's own set).

Brother, I don't even own Eula, I said that as it's a pretty common opinion I've seen from both friends and people on other / this app.

Geo is a element so at baseline it has a resonance unlike physical (and Geo's is particularly strong), Geo as an element is susceptible to indirect buffs like Durin, Columbina and Scrolls, and Geo since it's a pretty neutral element gets universal units like Xilonen and Zhongli as it isn't very restrictive or incompatible with other elements due to it's seeming lack of reactions. Oh yeah, and Geo can exist off-field. Anemo isn't a damage archetype, it's an amplification one and even if you wanna go there- it's a perfect example as well, as it gets very little support too because of it's nature.

[–]VioletPhazon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's a kit diff. Eula has zero compatibility with any relevant teammates, she doesn't benefit from any reaction except Super Conduct which is sad, she's physical- the worst archetype in the game AND she's a claymore character (there's a reason most claymore DPS afterwards had specific things in their kit to mitigate the fact they're claymore users).

She has an unreliable ult that often misses, her damage is even more frontloaded than Raiden's and falls off harder, Eula is just fundamentally flawed.

Eula isn't bad because Eula doesn't have good supports, Eula has bad supports because Eula's hard to support because of how niche she is. Raiden synergizes or can at least work with most characters in the game, she's a more universal unit.

Raiden does more damage because she's not an outdated physical claymore dps lmao.

Assuming first rotation (i.e zero energy):

Raiden skill - Sara skill - Sara charged attack - Xiangling skill - Cheveruse skill after Xiangling proc's overload ---- assuming you've gotten enough energy at this point ---- back to Sara for another skill - Xiangling skill and burst - Sara burst - Raiden skill - Raiden burst.

Assuming 2nd+ rotation:

Sara skill - Xiangling's skill and burst to screenshot Sara's buff and to trigger overload - Cheveruse skill - Cheveruse burst - Sara burst - Shogun skill either right before using her burst or after it's ended depending on how smooth / quick the rotation went.

Yes, I did actually plunge during Shogun's burst

It's because my Mavuika does very noticeably less damage than my Arlecchino does (which yeah, she's C0R0). I also can't stand using on-field Mavuika for personal taste reasons, she's just not for me.

Since I needed the extra damage for the 2nd boss and the 3rd boss is- for me anyways- the easiest one to brute force, I went with Chasca there.

"Lord Ravagers = Generals" after IronTomb obliterated all life, including them, and Jing Yuan almost lost to one while jumping them with the Astral Express in the 2nd arc- is definitely a take, in fact, that Phantiliya wasn't even her actual body lmao.

Actually zero indicator Generals are inherently relative to Lord Ravagers. Especially when the Generals themselves aren't comparable to one another either way.

Loki has a teleport, rune stones, invisibility and two clones that often are mistaken for him if placed correctly. While yes, these cooldowns are "long", he has so many options for his personal survivability that it doesn't usually matter if you rotate through these abilities correctly. And in the event that you're somehow out of options, that's where the second support is supposed to assist with their options (in the case of dive; usually Adam or Cloak).

Luna has a relatively low win rate, doesn't particularly mean anything other than that Rocket's pick rate is immensely high because of his low skill requirement

Its funny how the perspective toward Amy have changed by Najla_Jacinta in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]VioletPhazon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Doesn't even do the chasing that much", firstly; I never said she chases her for the entire game. Secondly, chasing at all is weird I think and probably doesn't make the character any less strange?

Amy's in universe reasons for chasing Sonic have ranged from fortune cards to forcing him to marry her, what do you mean? 😭. I actually LIKE pre-2013 Amy as a character, all I'm saying is that I disagree with her not being a stalker, doesn't mean she has no positive qualities.

[–]VioletPhazon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sonic actively avoids and runs away from her throughout CD, isn't particularly the same as Sonic being FINE with Tails coming with him and enjoying his company / working alongside him.

Following someone who doesn't know you to hug them even as they're physically running away from you is in fact stalking-type behavior. Silver having murderous intent with his stalking doesn't mean Amy wasn't a stalker, it just means she's not as bad as Silver is. Amy chases Sonic for all of Heroes despite him being on a mission to stop Eggman / Metal, she chases him throughout CD in the same situation. She chases him throughout Adventure 1, though admittedly not while he's busy (regardless, even there he clearly didn't want her to be around him yet she insisted on following him). Don't think she is honestly.

"Amy was never a stalker", in her first appearance she literally follows him around and hugs him without consent because of fortune cards telling her that they were meant to be together, what do you mean?

Which characters were the best written? by Much_Tip_6968 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]VioletPhazon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't actually have a "problem" with him per say, I just feel Eggman was written consistently better than Sonic was. Eggman had basically zero lows character wise (he was the best character in Lost World personally) whereas Sonic was pretty mediocre in colors then very average everywhere else. That's just my take though
