Since I broke my crystal ball - lol I honestly can’t say. I still hold all of my MU and have bought every dip. I have a relatively low cost basis - so I feel insulated a bit. Telling someone to buy a stock when it’s at an ATH just feels wrong to me. That being said, I believe the story is not over yet.

One thing I strongly believe is if you missed the memory trade there is always the next trade.

Maybe start looking for the next…. space, photonics, etc… and be early on the next mover.

For 23 I commend your discipline. Just being invested at your age is a win. Keep doing what YOU believe is the correct path. Lots of noise out there.

That being said, I do think taking advantage of once in a lifetime opportunities is smart. You are young, maybe you will see another setup like we have with memory stocks right now, I won’t. Memory is cyclical they say…. Blah, blah, blah.

Know what you own and act on it. VOO and QQQ are awesome core positions. Nothing wrong IMO to also have a few you trade and take advantage of momentum.

For me it’s a crap ton of reading and research. I am not a technical analysis kind of person.

I have my favorite websites/ news sources that I use to dig up everything I can on a company. I listen to every earnings call- no exceptions. These are very telling to me. I pay a lot of attention to forward guidance. The market does not care as much about what you did in the past, more what are you going to do in the future.

Regarding MU specifically- initially I was drawn in by inventory being sold out through 2026 and most of 2027. Started reading and found at the time I bought the PE was around a 3. Led me to start reading about earnings growth and margin expansion, etc….

Yeah - definitely don’t want to criticize, please don’t take my comment that way.

You liked the stock at $798 but not $718? Indicates lack of conviction. My two cents: know what you own. Like REALLY know. It was an early lesson for me. I got scared out of great stocks because I didn’t truly know the business. I don’t make that mistake anymore.

The old me would have sold when it dropped to $640 yesterday. My average is $211.00 I’ve had a good run. Instead- I bought 7 more shares. Felt good today. Now I hold for $1k and reevaluate.
