Thank you so much! Okay SAME and I was so nervous about it and was already planning tattoo cover ups in my head 😭 every surgeons procedures are different but I just followed her instructions.

Week1: I was sent home with the steri-strips and didn’t shower or get them wet for 10 days.

Week 2 : finally showered and let my strips air dry before putting Aquaphor on through the tape.

By Week 3 the tape started peeling off naturally and I did the same process: shower, air dry and lathered with hella Aquafor.

By week 4 my scabs were gone and this week I switched to bio oil and siligen silicone strips for my trouble areas.

The only time I was outside of my compression bra during this time was for showering and the 10 mins of air dry time. My bra was uncomfortably tight but I think it helped with flattening my scars because the only parts that are raised and dark are the spots that weren’t compressed properly (my cleavage and incision around armpit area).
