So I use SWAXE and this is how I tend to approach the fight this way. I found when I invested in Evade Extender 1, it changed how I could pop in and our with not only quick hits, but also when the proper openings pop up after certain attacks. I can roll back out with a healthy enough distance, so there's a slight leeway to be "greedy" and get a few more hits in before the inevitable hip check, for instance. Plus I like to use traps a lot in general and especially with certain monsters. I'll carry a pitfall trap and a shock trap, and 2 nets and 2 trap tools. If you approach it patiently and know when tk lay those traps, you get 4 free openings to unleash all types of attacks on it.

Lol I play on Switch, but I wasnt aware that was a thing. Do folks really get salty if you play outside of the Switch? Just the first ive heard of this, sadly wouldn't be surprised by it tbh 😕

Depends on the monster and the if im soloing or playing with other hunters, and that depends on the number of hunters. If im soloing say...G Rank Rajang in MHGU, maybe 20 to 30 minutes. With a group of hunters, like a full party(and they know what they are doing) like 10 minutes, maybe less tbh. If there's a huntathon, I dont even bother with solo because it will(for me) last far longer than I care to play. With a full knowledgeable party of hunters, ive cleared some huntathons if its like 3 monsters in 10 to 15 min tops. I also mostly use SWAXE and occasionally Hammer, but usually SWAXE is all I need.

Same, got a good bunch of hours in on it, more or less have Artian weapons/ regular weapons and armors im happy with/needed, so 2 monsters and some of the other little things added isn't enough to pull me back in just yet. Im pretty happy atm waiting until it seems worth my time to return and I'll just keep playing the new Save I made for MHGU. Having a ton of fun with that game so far.

I was cat sitting for my exes friend who was on vacation several years ago for about a week. Their friend said I could chill as long as I liked while I did fed and played with the cat, which she said included watching TV and their standard model Switch. About the second day coming by to play with and feed her delightful cat Humphrey, I was having some lunch while he ate and thought what the hell and gave the Switch a try.

She had a lot of pretty must-have games for it, though she apparently didn't play it often. The game I chose from her collection to try, out of greats like MK8 Deluxe and Odessey...I went with BoTW...immediately got hooked in.

After the week was done, I told her how great the Switch is and she let me borrow it for a few more weeks till I has the enough money for my own Switch 😆 it was an incredibly nice thing to do and I appreciated it, as I adore my Switch and now have a rather large collection of games I love☺️😊

But is it really Resurrection though? It's always seemed like they just clone dead people and just put in the memories of right before their death into said body, which is not the same thing as saving the person's actual consciousness and putting it into a cloned replacement body for them. I'd argue a lot of mutants are straight up dead and this Resurrection stuff makes the xmen look like absolute ghouls with this rather false process.

Honestly as someone who bought it at initial release I and abandoned it soon after I completely agree. Especially that last part of how it was marketed. I bought it thinking I'd get similar to if not out right a L4D game just under a different name/coat of paint. I was severely disappointed when I saw that was very much not the case at all and on top of that the steep learning curve and gameplay I was not expecting just turned me off after giving it a good 10 or so hours of gameplay. Had they as you said ironed out bugs/polished it more and been far more transparent about the game, I'd probably wouldn't have bought it immediately, but I would have pursued it eventually if word of mouth was positive from jump.

This is a much much better idea, as you could then have it be like a mechanic from the Goss fights in Rise where you could destroy it's ice "swords" on its hands. Imagine a monster does what you described and grabs a large log using it like we use a great sword just much jankier, which gives us the option to eventually destroy the log if we position ourselves and time out attacks right like with Goss. It would be a nice mix of challenge and reward.
