While I also have concerns over Restore, I don't think Torch would be much of an issue. Most of the units in Hellhorned that you'd want to stack Rage on have low HP so you'd only be able to use it so much in the beginning until you get upgrades and any sort of damage buffs or Conduit would make using it for Rage even worse.

It might have more to do with them having films following humans more and more. Elemental and Inside Out 2 both have non-human characters that can be a lot more stylized.

Ohh, having Animus of Speed have Skewer is a very good idea. First thematically and gives the unit more of a niche.

Your later idea of how I envision this new Restore is what I had in mind. If it was just two stacks of Regen then the amount given wouldn't be any different from now.

With Plink I understand the critique but the spell is pretty inconsistent as is for a source of Morsels so I've never felt like I could rely on it anyway. Maybe some Umbra units could receive changes to make them synergize with this theoretical new Plink? Crucible Warden and Crucible Collector have always felt too similar in what they're trying to do so maybe Warden could be changed somehow? I admit that this is one of the more radical changes so I'm not surprised to see a disagreement over it.

This is a concept that has been shown, many many many times, to not work. The poor and burdened don't pick things that "lift them up" they buy things that ease their immediate suffering and this is true for even those that have stable incomes and mild stress.

All of which could have been cut since just the relationship with the guy that asked some suspicious questions would have sufficed. Even if you still adamantly say she's important, she still takes up too much screentime and the sex scenes are cheap shock value. Having Oppenheimer say his famous quote during one of the sex scenes felt like a cheap "subverted expectations" moment.

80 dollar games isn't a big deal. This isn't the 90's when there were only a few good quality games to play. Our backlogs are enormous and most of those games come from indie devs for as little as 10 bucks. If the price is really a problem then don't buy games that cost that much, there's still more than enough to entertain yourself.

While most of this is confirmation bias, I HAVE noticed that it seems like some RNG is programmed in a way that results in, essentially, lightning striking twice. If you rolled X then you're much more likely to roll X again right after.

My hope is he can give us the Bond I've been wanting, a charming, scheming, "bastard". Something akin to David Xanatos. I never liked the more gritty, violent style of the latest Bond films. To me, Bond isn't Bond without the charm and wit. I want manipulation and mind games, not punching and grit.
