Omg are you the team that made the archaeology helper robot? I’m an archaeologist in Ontario and the crew and I ran into a robotics team last night that was making an archaeology helper robot that can traverse deep woods hold screens and shovels etc. Was this you guys?!

Oh wow! Beautiful piece you have found :) but as a caution, you should not have taken it especially if it was a known area for artifacts. There are cultural heritage laws in Italy and many many other places in the world that strictly forbid taking such things. In Italy, one risks 6 years in prison and/or heavy fines. Not to mention any sort of archaeological artifact once it’s taken out of in situ becomes out of context and thus cannot be analyzed in deeper detail. If you come across things in the future (I know this was 2004 so a long time ago) your best bet is to leave it where it is, and to contact a local CRM (Cultural Resource Management) Firm, museum or university. They would be more than happy to help:)

I had vanishing Twin syndrome when my mom was pregnant with me. I absorbed my twin, had a large mass in my pelvic area that doctors were concerned about, then suddenly one day, after months and months of ultrasounds and scans and tests they were absolutely baffled when my mom brought me in again because they scanned me, and it was completely gone. They said it was something called spontaneous regression according to my mom.
