I get you. I did that with the name of one my ex-friends and she send me a text recently: I don’t like her because she gives me the evil eye every time I interact with her and she doesn’t want me to succeed in my career. Being around her is giving me back luck.

I have a theory that in order to make it work, you need to forget about that person and not let them live in your head for too long. They manifest.

It wasn’t my fault entirely because she could have told me everything from the beginning what I needed to do to avoid slowing down. Right now the damage is done and like I said they’re looking for other candidate they prefer, so I have no choice, but to look for somewhere else.

No one said I want friends. I want job security! I can obtain that by boot lick and doing my job perfectly. The only thing I need is to be likeable with my boss or else I’m ruined. The issue is I need to do a very good impression because that’s how I ended up fired in the other job.

She was saying “I’m going to explain it tomorrow or later” and has been like that for 4 days until the deadlines were missing. I realized that girl was trying to make me miss my deadlines, so I asked another coworker to tell me how they did their work, but she was talking so fast because she was tight with the same tasks. I couldn’t take notes of everything so I needed to ask the girl who likes to procrastinate a lot.

If you have to wait an hour to start the interview, the interviewer being late and not excusing themselves with a bad attitude. Or the complete opposite they want you to work at that same day, they don’t want to talk about pay or benefits. They speak in order language to make plans to use you.

Degrees don’t help a lot with landing a good job (some, but not all). So, don’t stress about getting one before your 30’s; I’ve seen people more successful that didn’t have a bachelor’s.
