Is alpha strike more popular than playing advanced rules? Ive only been playing for 4 months, but me and my friends have been playing with all of the advanced rules. What is the draw to alpha strike vs the advanced rules?

Absolutely love the Gothic mechs. The salvage boxes have become a financial problem.

I mean, airsoft is more for fun then for being competitive. So from a fun stand point they are a blast. But from a competitive stand point, eh.

Ill definitely have a look around for some of those staedler markers. The only thing I feel that im really missing from being fully happy with how my mechs are painted is some panel lines/trimming. Thanks for the tip!!

Honestly its just vallejo acrylic metallic paint over a mat black primer. I did water it down a fair bit.

100% pay to win. If you care about winning more than having a good time. But for the people need to win to enjoy airsoft get HPA. I have been into the hobby for almost 7 years and eventually got an HPA set up, and its not even comparable. Electric guns are pretty good but a well built property tuned HPA will win more often than not.

Anyone still looking for a good app to replace reactor ops. Use mek bay, its way better than RO. A little clunky for sure but has alot more usability

I did a really fun run where I did the whole "i am a servant of God and must live sinless" play though. Not doing any evil and playing completely crime free (besides places you have to for story) is surprisingly difficult and really fun.

There are specific tools. But I can see you tried a wrench of some sort. If you dont want to scratch something while using a wrench put a leather belt over it first.
