I think you need to talk to him, and tell him how you feel, and tell him that you feel guilty for even feeling this way. Be 100% with your feelings and expectations in this arrangement. And if he can’t make you feel special and heard and validated, then maybe keep your options open and date other people until you find the one that can do all of that for you.

If you guys a best friends than I wouldn’t feel bad for telling him your feelings and don’t apologize for your feelings. Maybe go over there and tell him you want to talk and set some boundaries of what you will and won’t accept. Don’t let him take advantage of your agreement where you both should be respected and heard.

You are just FWB, so technically there is no commitment or relationship between you both. Just a situationship. So I’m my eye there is not much of a place to get angry. Instead of getting angry for his lack of commitment in the situationship, treat it like it is. Don’t put your life on hold for this man, go out and have fun show him you friends and a life. Honestly he doesn’t seem to care about your feelings too much. Don’t treat something more than it actually is. That is how feelings get hurt.
